The gift shop offers literature, music, unique basketry, jewelry and ceramics from indigenous artists of this hemisphere. Tuesday-Friday, 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Saturday and Sunday, noon-5 p.m.

 

Asian Art Museum of San Francisco

The largest museum in the western world devoted exclusively to Asian art houses permanent collections showcasing the arts and cultures of over 40 Asian countries. Ongoing exhibit, Chinese Bronze and Buddhist Arts, features nearly 120 of the museum's most exceptional Chinese bronzes and Buddhist arts. Museum also offers courses, tours, films, performances and special events. Open 9:30 am-5 PM, closed Monday.

Golden Gate Park Explorer Pass offering discount admission for this and other attractions in the Park, is available at the box office. CityPass ticket booklet offering 50% discount for this and five other attractions throughout San Francisco is also available.

The Preserve offers guided tours, by advance reservation, of the extensive di Rosa art collection, which features over 1,000 pieces of contemporary San Francisco Bay Area art. Four gallery buildings are set among gardens, vineyards and beside a lake. Tours are given Monday-Thursday and Saturday from June through September; Tuesday-Saturday from October through May. Closed on public holidays.

This spectacular downtown arts complex presents visual and performing arts by artists who reflect America's many cultural communities. The visual arts building showcases contemporary artists. The complex overlooks a five-acre urban park with terrace cafes, an outdoor stage, and a walk-through waterfall leading to a memorial for Martin Luther King, Jr. Galleries: Tuesday-Sunday 11 am-6 PM, Thursday to 9 PM.
