IN MEMORIUM

The attack on America this past September 11th has shattered our illusion of well-being.

The reality that we, inhabitants of the planet Earth, are far less civilized than we would like to think has been demonstrated once again - this time in our part of the world.

Nothing that has been said will ever heal the aching we all feel in our hearts for those who have perished or for the loved ones left behind.

Yet we, as a people, are strong. We have come together to aid and comfort those who so terribly need it.

Our spirits are lifted by the heroism of the rescue workers who have paid the ultimate price to help a fellow human being, as well as those who are still risking their own lives doing all they can in the aftermath.

Many thousands have lost loved ones, friends and colleagues, including twenty of our own IBEW family. Local 3 mourns the loss of sixteen and Local 1212 mourns the loss of another four.

Our hearts and prayers go out to all of them; the loved ones they've left behind; and all those who were injured. We pray for God to heal them quickly, physically and emotionally.

We pray for God's intervention that the senseless human traits of aggression and intolerance be lifted from all of His children.

There is a Tribute to the Victims of September 11, 2001 on the Internet , created by Mr. Jason Powers, that is so touching.

Please Click Here and allow it the time to load. Turn on the sound and share the emotions so beautifully expressed by his incredible work.

Pray for Peace and an end to the senselessness of Man.

Click Here if you need to downloaded a free copy of Macromedia Flash which is needed to view the Tribute.

I CAN'T CRY HARD ENOUGH
Written By: David Williams & Marvin Etzioni
Performed By: The Williams Brothers

I'm going to live my life

                            Like every day's my last

                           Without a simple goodbye

It all goes by so fast

                           And now that you're gone

                             I can't cry hard enough

No I can't cry hard enough

For you to hear me now

I'm going to open my eyes

And see for the first time

I've let go of you like

A child letting go of his kite

There it goes up in the sky

There it goes beyond the clouds

                              For no reason why

                             I can't cry hard enough

No I can't cry hard enough

For you to hear me now

I'm going to look back in vain

                          And see you standing there

                             When all that remains

                             Is just an empty chair

                           And now that you're gone

                             I can't cry hard enough

No I can't cry hard enough

For you to hear me now.

There it goes up in the sky

There it goes beyond the clouds

                              For no reason why

                             I can't cry hard enough

No I can't cry hard enough

For you to hear me now

GOD BLESS AMERICA!
